Sandy Charles is an underwater photographer for ReefNews. Sandy learned to scuba dive in 1997. In the photograph above, Sandy poses with her husband, John Charles, at a reef called The Cliff on the island of Bonaire. Sandy is a sharp-eyed diver. She can swim along a reef and find fishes and other critters in nooks and crannies where camouflage would hide them from other divers. Sandy also is an expert snorkeler.
